Our Mission

LEGENDS Research is a research-driven leadership institution studying how consequential decisions are made under pressure and how those decisions shape human, institutional, and generational outcomes. Founded by Dr. Kimberly Bonniksen, EdD, the work sits at the intersection of education systems, public policy, workforce development, and emerging technology.

The LEGENDS Framework

Dr. Bonniksen is the architect of the LEGENDS framework, a structured methodology used to map leadership landscapes, identify systemic barriers, clarify responsibility, and design durable paths forward. LEGENDS is applied across sectors including education, business, and innovation as both a research lens and a practical decision architecture.
